You can choose easy 45 minutes walks all the way up to the bigger day walks. There are walks to suit every person’s level of fitness.

So a great way to do Cradle Mountain is to stay at Madsen Retreat in Penguin and leave around 7.30 am to arrive at the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre by 10 am. It is a very enjoyable drive and when you arrive you pick your walk and get taken to start of your walk in one of the shuttle buses that leave every 10-15 minutes.
The shuttle buses will also pick you up at the end of your walk and take you back to your car.
